How Trump Embraced Palinism & Won the White House

Trump embraced Sarah Palin's populist nationalist message and it won him the White House.  While I'm not happy with some of Trump's cabinet picks or considerations, I am happy he told Mitt Romney to go get his shine box.  Will Trump implement Palinism and be a Reaganite figure? Or will he end up like Hank Spallone?

Dr.StrangeHillary- Or How the Left Learned to Hate WikiLeaks Out of Fear of Trump

Post final Trump/Clinton debate analysis. Sarah Palin, a surprise debate guest, works the spin room for Trump.  A few years ago, the left and much of the media glorified Julian Assange for leaking the Afghan War Diary. Now that his WikiLeaks threatens Hillary's chances of being elected many of them are demonizing him and calling what he is doing illegal.

Obama Confirms--No Palin No Trump

My thoughts on the faux outrage over the Trump tapes and Trump’s stellar performance at the second presidential debate. In an interview with New York Magazine, Barack Obama elevates Sarah Palin and says had there been no Sarah Palin in 2008 there would be no Donald Trump in 2016.

What Would President Kirkman Do?

The second episode of Designated Survivor was so disappointing last night, I actually regret writing this the other day.  People's Cube sums it up perfectly here:
RUSH weighs in:  "The first episode was kick ass. First episode is great. Episode two, they blow it. These people on the left cannot keep their liberalism out -- and it's always been there. Don't misunderstand. What's happening now is they are in our face. They are using prime time television entertainment shows to preach to us, to belittle us, to mock us, to make fun of us to advance their agenda or whatever. There's no wonder why ratings are down."

CLINTON: The other day, I saw Donald saying that there were some Iranian sailors on a ship in the waters off of Iran, and they were taunting American sailors who were on a nearby ship. He said, you know, if they taunted our sailors, I'd blow them out of the water and start another war. That's not good judgment.
TRUMP: That would not start a war.
CLINTON: That is not the right temperament to be commander-in- chief, to be taunted. And the worst part...
TRUMP: No, they were taunting us.

That was a transcript from Monday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. First, I will just point out the obvious.  The only person on that debate stage who helped start a war—in Iraq—is Hillary Clinton.  I’m sure that Hillary, her cronies and worshippers would like you to forget just how Mrs. Clinton lost the Democrat nomination to Barack Obama in 2008.  As Secretary of State, Hillary and Obama went to war, illegally, in Libya with absolutely no plan whatsoever once they leveled Muammar Gaddafi and his government.

Other than Hillary being totally unlikable, craven and untrustworthy, if I had to choose one thing that turned the Democrat left base over to Obama in 2008, it was her vote to go to war in Iraq. She tried to run from it, parse it, spin it, but she could not hide from it.  Recall this moment from 2006 of Code Pink leader confronting Hillary over her vote.

And now here she stood on the debate stage, in one of the most egregious cases of projection, trying to paint Donald Trump as a war monger and herself as the diplomatic dove with superior judgement and temperament.

As for Trump, I didn’t think his debate performance was horrible as the media make it seem, but he missed many opportunities to hit Clinton on several issues including when she brought up his comment about blowing an Iranian ship out of the water after they taunted the Navy.

Here is what Trump should have articulated at that moment:

American Journalism Collapsed Before Our Eyes in 2008

Today I woke up the same way I wake up every day with coffee, internet news on the tablet and cable news on the TV.  I clicked over to the NY Post to read columnist Michael Goodwin’s article “American Journalism Has Collapsed Before Our Eyes.” Go here to read it.

I agree with Goodwin one hundred percent.  Is the media pulling all the stops to try to take Donald Trump down?  Absolutely.  On cable and nightly network news, it is wall to wall Trump coverage 24/7.  Most of it is negative. Meanwhile they virtually ignore Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

Benghazi?  It’s old news.  The Clinton Foundation is operating like a money laundering scheme?  It’s a nothing burger.  Is Hillary’s health an issue? Move along nothing to see here.  Do they ask why Hillary wore a wool coat at an outdoor east coast fundraiser in 90 degree heat in August?  Never.

The bias is undeniable.

My beef with Goodwin is that his article reads as if this all started with the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump.  It did not.  The year that the media and mainstream journalism collapsed before our eyes was 2008.  Sean Hannity has often referred to the year 2008 as “the year the media and journalism died.”

It was clear to everyone with a thinking mind that the mainstream press knob-slobbed then Senator Barack Obama while he was running for president.  But they really went off the wall when Governor Sarah Palin was picked as John McCain’s running mate.  With the national introduction of Palin, for the first time in the entire election cycle of 2008 there was a clear and present threat against Obama.  The media clearly had to take her down.

They had every reason to worry.   For the first time in the general election race, McCain was up in the polls right after Palin’s thunderous RNC acceptance speech.

Homegrown Islamic Supremacism Must Be Eradicated

Political elites continue to speak no Sharia, hear no Sharia and see no Sharia. If you see something say something.... but not if it's a Muslim. It's "known" wolves not "lone" wolves. If you must emigrate, learn to assimilate. Homegrown Islamism is not normal. Make America Normal Again.

In her latest article about the 2016 race, it's clear that Peggy Noonan is more concerned about the future and well being of the GOP than the future and well being of America.

Sarah Palin Trumps Cruz and the Republican Establishment in Wisconsin

Sarah Palin-- Still rogue after all these years.
On behalf of Trump, Palin speaks bold truths about Ted Cruz and the GOP establishment before a cold GOPE crowd  in Wisconsin 5 years after she appeared in the state with Andrew Breitbart on behalf of Scott Walker.

RE: Glenn Beck's Latest Jiggery Pokery

On Thursday, Sarah Palin posted this about Glenn Beck.
This has been yet another episode in the ongoing feud between the former Governor and the talk show host.  Apparently, Glenn did not like the public mutilation of his genitals on Thursday, so he posted a response, playing the victim, for which I will respond:

"I just read Sarah Palin's Facebook page."
Bullshit. You probably read it the second it was posted. One of your cronies told you about Palin's post immediately.

"There is a problem in our society. Anger, vitriol and hatred are growing. Politics are coming between us as people."
Yes there is Glenn and you have contributed to the growth of that anger, vitriol and hatred on your talk radio show, now defunct Fox News show and Blaze TV.

"There are many political organizations, like Media Matters, that have taken people like Sarah and me on for years. I have stopped reading them or spreading their lies and spin.
Their lies are hurtful and nasty."
Don't blame Media Matters for your feud with Palin.  Anyone with a brain knows that Sarah and her husband treated you with nothing but kindness and respect.  It was YOU who drew first blood.
